A 2-day ‘Better Piping’ workshop aimed at pipers wishing to improve their own
personal performance levels, instrument sound and musicianship. Tuition is on a very personal basis - ‘up close and friendly’, which is why this workshop is limited to a maximum of 10 pipers only.
Note, that this is an individual and separate workshop which differs in content from previous workshops in this series.

TECHNICAL: Getting ‘on the beat’
PERFORMANCE SESSION 1: doing it all on pipes
OPEN SESSION: Open Question & Answer problem solving session

DAY 2  10am-4.30pm
THE BAGPIPE: Better sound drones and chanters
TECHNICAL: Using technique to enhance your performance
MUSICIANSHIP: The art of competitive and performance piping
PERFORMANCE SESSION 2: doing it all on pipes
OPEN SESSION: Open Question & Answer problem solving session

SATURDAY EVENING 7.30pm-9.30pm (free only for workshop students and invited guests)

Note that there is a restriction of just 10 places on this workshop - and they are on a strictly ‘first come’ basis.

You can either make a deposit of £10 (and then follow up with the balance  of £90 by 26 SEPTEMBER) or make a full payment of just £90 before 19 September.

Please be aware this workshop is restricted to just 10 pipers. Bookings made are also non-refundable (although they are transferable)
except in extra-ordinary circumstances.

Free basic style dormitory accommodation with facilities is included in the workshop costs.
